Why Stepping On LEGO Hurts So Much

Why Stepping On LEGO Hurts So Much

Right up there with how the gun on the original Duck Hunt game worked, why it hurts so much to step on a Lego brick is one of the questions we’re asked the most, so it’s high time we answered it. As anyone who’s done it knows, stepping on a Lego block is something akin to being shot in the foot by a knife soaked in wasp venom. In truth, this is an inherent danger of allowing a child to exist in your home.

How to check the warranty status on your iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Mac

Every iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Mac comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects and hardware failures. If you choose, you can also extend that warranty for additional years with AppleCare. Regardless which warranty you have, you can easily find out whether or not your Apple products are currently covered. Here’s how:

How to check your AppleCare coverage on an iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Mac

  1. Find the serial number of your Apple product. If you aren’t sure where it is, Apple has a support page to help you locate it – Click here to find your serial number
  2. Go to the following link in Safari on your Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Apple Warranty Status
  3. Type in the serial number or IMEI of your Apple product that you found in step 1.
  4. You should now see a page letting you know whether or not you’re in warranty.

If you haven’t extended your product coverage with AppleCare, you can purchase a plan online by clicking on the button to extend your coverage under the AppleCare coverage section. If you’re within warranty you can also set up a repair using this page or contact AppleCare support.

For those of you with multiple Apple products, do you always buy AppleCare plans? I find myself always buying it for Macs since I keep those a lot longer but not for iPads and iPhones since I upgrade those every year. What about you? Let me know in the comments!
